Manipulating the table waits a turn

On the turn you lay your initial thirty points you may do nothing else: no splitting, no adding to other people's sets, no rearranging. From your next turn on, manipulate freely. CHECK YOUR OWN RULES FIRST — the editions disagree. Spears lets you come out and immediately take the table apart in the same turn, and the Pressman and Goliath sets read that way too, and if those are your rules this is a real restriction: it is where a first meld turns into a five-minute solo puzzle and, occasionally, into somebody winning off one enormous turn. Lemada's current rules already make you wait, so if you bought the box recently you are playing this already.
