Jump-in on an identical card
A player holding a card identical to the top of the discard pile — same colour and same number — may play it the moment it lands, out of turn. Play then continues from them, and everyone in between is skipped. Identical means identical: a matching colour alone or a matching number alone is not enough. Mattel publishes this as Jump-In UNO, the winner of its house-rules contest; the base rules have no out-of-turn play at all. It makes other people's turns worth watching, which the printed game never asks of you.
